The Grandtully Accommodation

Claire & Terry welcome you to this former Fishing / Shooting Lodge, which now has 10 basic bedrooms (4 En-suite). They are clean, warm and affordable which makes the site ideal for any type of group accommodation, breaks, stag and hen weekends or family gatherings. We accomodate everyone, from club and group bookings on weekends to the weekday individual walker or schools looking for a friendly secure place to lay their heads. You are bound to find people with similar outdoor interests.

We also have the added benifit of an on-site family/dog friendly real pub. The pub is cosy and friendly and welcoming to all, offering a range of good international beer on tap and bottled, an exceptional range of malt whisky and awesome Rum gantry. And do you know what?? It's cheap! Come and warm your boots by the real log fire on a winter's day or after a long day on the river. The atmosphere beats the opposition from miles around, hands down. People travel from all around to come out on nights out here. The staff are all lovely and friendly with each other and are all good friends in work and out. Planty of snacks and evening meals on offer.

Live bands are a regular feature, especially on Saturday nights and we have just started up an open mike night on Thursday evenings. If you are interested in playing just drop on in. We welcome live sessions any time.

We are not pretending to be a fancy hotel, just a great, friendly, fun place to stay and a fantastic place to socialise.

Water Based Activities

White Water Rafting: There are 2 main rivers that we run in the area, the River Tay (Grades 1-3), and the River Tummel (Grades 2-4). This can be done through Freespirits (T: 01887-840400), they are ideally situated just 30 meters away across the road next to the river, Activ8s who are just behind the Tully (T:01887-830292) or Splash (T: 01887-829706) who are based in Aberfeldy.

Canyoning / Cliff Jumping There are a few different companies in the local area that do canyoning, Freespirits, Activ8s and Splash. Canyoning involves making your way down a gorge in the water, be it jumping off cliffs, sliding down waterfalls or climbing challenges.

Kayaking / Open Canoeing trips and courses: Take a scenic leisurely trip down the Tay or become more experienced with various courses for all levels of experience with the the local outdoor training companies of Beyond Adventure or Source Paddle Sport.

Some of these cover walks around; Linn of Tummel / Glen Tilt and Blair Castle / Camserney and Loch Farlayer and of course The Birks of Aberfeldy.
